Gerry Murphy  is a Gold Coast-based writer and illustrator who makes picture books that have an emphasis on helping society. He has produced work about climate change, and space discovery and exploration, and focuses on work for children and young adults. The 'Bobby, Sandra and Vermilion' trilogy tells of the outrageous and daring adventures and exploits of three young teenagers, as they travel around the universe, getting mixed up with all sorts of amazing characters and into all manner of situations. Two other works, called 'Queensland Adventure' and 'Global Warming Adventure' are aimed at very young children. 'Monsters from Outer Space' is an exciting graphic novel suitable for older readers. All these works are available on Amazon Kindle, and various other online book retailers. As well as this, some small free booklets about climate change are available throughout the Gold Coast.
